Kodiak is a great place to hunt Sitka Blacktails. The deer season opens August 1 and runs until December 31. Midnightsun Charters can take you and your hunting party (four persons max) on a remote unguided deer hunt for up to four days and three nights. You will sleep aboard the El Gato and have use of a Zodiac for optimal versatility during your hunt.
